[July 25, 2007] - Well, to be honest, what happens when the cameras are not rolling is as varied as the types of scenes that can be shot! I have been on sets where the ... fun... never stopped... cameras rolling or not... I have also been on sets where the second the cameras stopped, so did the performers. Some film sets more closely resemble a party; friends hanging out with friends. Other locations are handled in a less casual, more business-like manner. The degree of familiarity the cast has with each other contributes a lot, too. It really just depends on the type of shoot, the performers, the chemistry on set, the pace of the days schedule, the number of scenes being shot, the size of the location (if there is any chance for privacy, cell phones WILL be pulled out...this *is* L.A.!), tons of things! As far as camera guys, PAs and such 'getting lucky'...since a lot of male performers also shoot, direct, etc, it has been known to happen! Should this possibility make you run out, grab a camera and head for Porn Valley? You can, but if you want even a remote chance of getting a between-scenes quickie, you'd better visit AIM first...for civilians the saying is, "No glove, no love" for US it is "No paperwork, NO WAY!"
