Ok, a few things to keep in mind when shaving the cootchie: Shaving is done best with a sharp razor (I know the refills are disgustingly priced, but over-using them is disastrous for the skin), during a warm shower. A hot soak in the bath first helps if the hair is especially thick or coarse. Use scissors to trim the longer portions before shaving, that helps keep the blade on the razor sharper longer and also helps you get the areas you want shaved and not the areas you don't. There are shaving creams made for women, sometimes I use them, sometimes I do not. Shave in the direction of hair growth. This is crucial! Shaving against the grain, so to speak, is one of the leading causes of ingrown hair. After shaving, pat the area dry but do not rub it. I have used one of these for years and love it! This is the best personal shaver I have found! It does not pinch and I have not replaced the blade yet (I have had it and used it regularly since 2003). Good luck & let me know if this helps! :)~
