[August 25, 2007] - Ok, a FEW things here! One: I am NOT a pornstar, I am just a chick making her living (well, trying too *giggle*), doing adult films. The only time I refer to myself as a pornstar is for SEO (Search Engine Optimization)...secondly, I rarely go to night clubs, to be honest. My weekly schedule can be quite brutal at times. Between the scene work and my web work, a night off for me is best spent relaxing at home (either mine or a friends) with a remote in one hand and a glass of wine in the other! Somewhere in my schedule, I have my dogs, my ex-bf (whom I still fuck almost daily) and my friends to consider. The few times I HAVE been recognized have been in more mundane settings: at the tanning salon, the grocery store, while out shopping in Hollywood, etc. In those instances, I have generally been treated like a celebrity (which both made me laugh and sort of caught me off-guard). The times where fans HAVE been "grabby" have been at conventions. For some reason, in that setting, fans feel they have the 'right' to grab and paw at us performers. Several of my industry friends have complained about this phenomena. After discussing it amongst ourselves, we have come to the conclusion that since the fans are gouged with inflated entrance fees, ungodly priced concessions and are herded in to generally crowded areas that are not air-conditioned, they feel they "deserve" to do whatever the Hell they want! Keep in mind that along with those conditions, there are scantily clad porn performers smiling for the cameras and a veritable sea of barely-covered pussy, ass and tits spans as far as the eye can see!
